Qantas, Skywest and Virgin Blue all operate regular flights into Broome and you can travel to Derby from Broome, which is only 220 kilometres away, with regional airline Golden Eagle. Alternatively you can catch a bus on one of the regular bus services operated by Derby Bus Services, Greyhound or McCafferty's. The Derby Visitor Centre can assist you with these bookings and Bushtrack Safaris are also more than happy to assist you with your travel requirements.
When flying into or out of Walcott Inlet you have the option of taking a scenic air flight, which is an option well worth taking. You will get to take in the majestic Buccaneer Archipelago, the horizontal waterfall, the picturesque Derby mud flats and get a 'birds eye' view of the ancient Kimberley landscape.
